About the Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will work as part of the
sales team to drive and deliver sales to meet the team’s overall sales goals as
well as to achieve their personal sales quota and targets.  The BDR will work
collaboratively with the sales and marketing departments by opening new
opportunities, advancing current deals, and in achieving overall sales goals.
This role will operate as part of a Regional Sales Team consisting of a
Regional Vice President and Account Executives, pursuing new business
within specific territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients, following our sales process to
    advance opportunities
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term relationships with customers based on trust
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plan
Key attributes/qualifications
  • Understanding of the key business challenges for law firm’s time recording
  • Resourceful self-starter with demonstrated record of exceeding goals
  • Charismatic, articulate, flexible, creative and undaunted by difficult-to-open
    doors
  • Able to communicate with Bellefield’s target buyers i.e. Management or C-
    Level IT, and Finance
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Must have excellent communication, organization skills and presentation
    skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel,
    Outlook and PowerPoint • Experienced with sales database upkeep
    (Salesforce.com)
  • 2+ years’ experience in Sales technology/software, preferably in the legal or
    professional services sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
